Identity Cards:
- Every student must wear their identity card during class hours and while on campus. The identity card must be produced whenever demanded by any member of the teaching or non-teaching staff.
- Students must bring their identity card to the Academy every day. If the identity card is lost, it should be reported to the office immediately. An application for a duplicate identity card must be submitted, and it will be issued upon payment of the applicable charges.
Dress Code and Conduct:
- Students are required to wear clean and modest attire while attending the Academy.
- Students must conduct themselves in a manner that does not disturb teachers, fellow students, or other classes within the Academy premises.
- Proper decorum in public behavior must be followed, avoiding the use of abusive language and indecent manners in all interactions. Violating the norms of conduct may result in expulsion from the Academy.
- Attendance at common functions of the Academy is compulsory. Absence without a valid reason may result in disciplinary action by the Director.
- Ragging, abusive behavior, and harassment in any form are strictly prohibited and will result in severe disciplinary action.
Classroom Etiquette:
- Students must ensure that all lights and fans are switched off before leaving the classrooms.
- The use of mobile phones or any electronic devices without proper permission is strictly prohibited. The Academy is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of such devices and will not entertain related reports.
- Loss or damage of library books or Academy equipment must be compensated by the students.
- Students are advised to consult the Academy notice board or Mobile App for any notifications.
- The Academy building and premises must be kept clean, with proper use of dustbins.
- Chewing gum is prohibited within the Academy.
Attendance and Punctuality:
- Class schedules may vary depending on different situations. Attendance will be taken by the class animator/coordinator at the beginning of each session.
- Leave of absence for a single period or a portion of it may be obtained from the lecturer concerned.
- Leave for several periods or the entire day must be obtained from the Academy office by submitting a written request in advance using the prescribed form or through the Mobile App.
- Students should avoid taking leave unless it is absolutely necessary.
- Students must arrive at the Academy on time. Late arrivals disrupt classes and are discouraged.
Respect and Responsibility:
- Students must show respect to all faculty members, administrative staff, and non-teaching staff. Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and will lead to disciplinary action.
- Smoking, consumption of alcohol, and the use of any illegal substances are strictly prohibited within the Academy premises. Violators will face severe disciplinary action.
- Students must handle Academy facilities such as the library and computer labs responsibly. Misuse of any facility will result in restrictions on future use and possible fines.
- Students must use the internet and social media responsibly. Cyberbullying, harassment, and the spreading of false information are strictly prohibited.
Academic Integrity:
- Students must complete and submit homework and assignments on time. Plagiarism and copying are strictly prohibited and will result in penalties.
- Students must uphold the highest standards of academic integrity. Cheating, fabrication, and facilitating academic dishonesty are serious offenses that will result in disciplinary measures.
- Participation in extracurricular activities is encouraged, but students must ensure that such activities do not interfere with their academic responsibilities.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Students must adhere to all health and safety regulations within the Academy.
- Students are encouraged to be environmentally responsible. This includes recycling, conserving resources, and minimizing waste.
- Any disputes or conflicts between students should be resolved amicably. If necessary, students can seek the help of faculty or the Academy’s counseling services.
General Policies:
- Students must provide up-to-date emergency contact information to the Academy office. This information should be updated promptly if there are any changes.
- Students must ensure that all fees and dues are paid on time. Failure to do so may result in the withholding of academic records and other penalties.
- Students must respect the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of their peers. Discrimination or harassment based on race, gender, religion, or any other characteristic will not be tolerated.
- Visitors are allowed on campus only with prior permission. Students are responsible for the conduct of their guests and must ensure they follow Academy rules.
