Carmel Academy, Cherthala is a Catholic educational initiative inspired by the Carmelite tradition of learning, discipline, and human formation. The academy focuses on German language education, student mentorship, and international opportunities for young people preparing for academic and professional pathways abroad.

Founded with the vision of combining academic excellence with personal guidance, Carmel Academy provides structured German language training from A1 to B2 levels, along with Goethe and TELC exam preparation, Germany-oriented guidance, and student support across multiple campuses in Cherthala.

The academy is connected to the Carmelite spiritual and educational heritage of the Order of Carmelites (O.Carm), a Catholic religious order with a long tradition of education, spirituality, and service throughout the world.
